The Sounds of Joy Performing Arts Program, Inc. provides an opportunity for self-expression in a variety of different ways. The program provides in an encouraging environment that allows students to express themselves in a creative way. The Performing Arts Program focuses on instruction in three main areas: Drama, Dance, and Music.

The program’s mission is to educate and enhance the creative talents of children by providing them with the techniques needed to become great performers.

Students will improve their imagination, and technique while learning and experiencing the dynamics of dance!

Theatre

Students will be encouraged to explore the exciting world of theatre improvisation, stage presence & so much more!

Voice Theory

Singers learn the basics of vocal training through age-appropriate vocal exercises & building healthy vocal habits!

Program overview

The Sounds of Joy Performing Arts Program provides an intense summer program offering sessions in voice theory, drama, and dance to upcoming middle school grade students. Each summer session is followed by cohort sessions whereby students engage in character building, community volunteering, and a continuance of performing art instruction.

In addition to cultivating the students' creative talents, we are devoted to nurturing them into becoming leaders and innovators for a sustainable future. The program promotes and empowers students to develop confidence in their creative potential and creates an opportunity for them to grow and explore performing arts in a landscape where opportunities are unlimited.
